SAY NO TO SOME FOOD PRODUCTS

Huge swathes of forest being replaced by vast monoculture plantations and pasture, especially in the global South.
Beef is the worst deforesting and clearing forests to make way for pasture was responsible for 71% of deforestation in seven Latin American countries.
Palm oil is second only to beef and is leading to serious deforestation in Southeast Asia—300 football fields of forest are lost in Indonesia for palm oil every hour!

This issue brings us stories from around the world where forests, endangered species such as orangutans and communities face the impacts of the production and trade in these products.
There are some campaigns as communities across the globe struggle to stop these drivers of forest loss.

We can also do a lot by saying "NO" and stop buying this fast and unhealthy food products. There are healthy and ecofriendly options in the supermarket and we are little by little forcing multinationals to change palm oil for sunflower oil.

The future is not yet written, fight with us and make sure it's ours.

Add your name, and tell companies to end forest destruction for dirty palm oil:
